22 Mar Texting while Driving Now Illegal in Almost All U.S. states
According to the latest numbers from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, 46 states and the District of Columbia have made it illegal for any driver to text while operating a vehicle on public roadways. Although Texas and Missouri have not yet banned texting for all drivers, those states have banned the dangerous practice for novice drivers.
Thus far, only Arizone and Montana remain as states with no bans on texting while driving.
